Vijay Devarakonda's
Arjun Reddy, written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga released in 2017 and
went on to become a blockbuster. It got great attention from the youth and
swept away many records of the Telugu film industry.
The story showcases the
self-destruction of a highly talented Surgeon who becomes an alcoholic when the
girl he loves gets married to another person. Vijay brilliantly portrayed the
role of the surgeon with anger management problems. He went on to become a star
overnight. Shalini Pandey played the female lead and convinced the masses.
Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi have added assets to the movie. While Rahul
played as Vijay's friend, Priyadarshi played the role of a lawyer.
The movie was produced
by Bhadrakali pictures went on to earn ten times its budget. Shahid Kapoor is
playing the male lead for the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy, with the name Kabir
